Environmental cleanup at Torre Flavia (Ladispoli, Italy)

Dear friends,

Yesterday my husband and I participated in the cleanup of Torre Flavia arranged by WWF Italia and I can safely say that we were pleased to have done our part cleaning up the shoreline. I was amazed by the filth we found and would like to appeal to the public to do its part when out. The beach was littered with plastic bottles and other plastic items such as bags, fishing lines and nets, but what we found most annoying were the lollipop sticks that were left in the sand.

Next time you go out, whether it be to the beach, mountains or the city, please pick up after yourself and if trash bins aren’t nearby, then take it with you to dispose probably when the occasion arises.

Thanks
Grace :)
